She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Markle and Emma Markle; her husband Wilfred Bartle Cowling; her brother Walter Markle; and her son Donald.

She is survived by : her children, Larry Cowling (Patricia) of L'anse, MI and Jeanette Sullivan of Vandalia, OH; and her sister Meryl Aimino of Three Rivers, MI.
