He was predeceased by : his parents, William Nygord and Pearl Nygord (Sjoblom); his stepfather Helmer Toyras; his brother William Nygord Jr.; and his son Wayne Nygord Jr. The.

He is survived by : his wife Faye Nygord of Aura; his children, Theresa Nygord (Nakia) of L'Anse, Wallace Nygord (Tiffany) of Aura and Wade Nygord (Jerri) of Aura; his grandchildren, Zachary, Rebecca, Weston, Mark and Wyatt; his sisters, Pearl Wise and Robin Carlisle (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Jean Heider (Tom) and Bruce Pesola (Meg). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
