He was predeceased by : his parents, Oswald Holz and Carrie Holz (Hildorf); and his brother Russell Holz. He is survived by : his cousin Oscar Koehler; his wife Ethel "Peggy" Holz; his children, Ken Holz (Barb) and Nancy Jenkins (Rich); his grandchildren, Nicholas Jenkins (Joan) of California, Eric Holz (Tiffany) and Krista Holz; his great grandchild Giana Garcia; and his siblings, Walter Holz (JoAnn), Helen Holcomb (Al) and Lucille Holz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shepherd of the Hills Evangelical Lutheran Church Building Fund.
