He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Thomas and Floyd Bell; and his brother Lucious Bell, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Richard, Derek and Terrilyn; his sister Luelle Patterson; and his grandchildren, Martell and Kenya. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
