He is survived by: his sons, Fritz (Becky) and Erich Vedder (Tiffany); the mother of his children Janice Whipple (Vedder); his granddaughters, Alexis, Kendall, Allison and Madelynn; his sister Marilyn Bennett of Fountain Valley; his nephews, James and Brett; his friend Shellie Fournier; and also Kassie Fournier.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, Emanuel First Lutheran Church of Lansing, and the Steam Railroading Institute in Owosso, Michigan.
