It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Opal Bashore (Lansing, Michigan), born in Indianola, Mississippi, who passed away on September 1, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Vance and Ovie Jane Vance (Massingale); her husband Jack; and her brothers, Doyle Vance and Mitchell Vance.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Bashore and Timothy Bashore (Anne); her grandchildren, Chelsey Munyon (Joshua) and Shaun Bashore (Payge); her great grandchildren, Taylor and Logan Munyon; and her siblings, Myrtle Baker, Doris Dewoody, Linda Brackin, Alton Vance (Sherry) and James Vance. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the South Lansing Christian Church or Holt Senior Care and Rehab Center in memory of Opal.
