It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Anne Mort (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Patricia Anne find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She is survived by: her brother Rev. Jim Mort (Janet); her sibling's children, Jeremiah Mort and Rebekah Scates (Phil); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Cason, David, Anthony, Alexandra, Jasmine and Sonya.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Central United Methodist Church (215 N Capitol Ave, Lansing, MI 48933). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Women of Faith, Judy Grove Circle in memory of Pat Mort.
