He was predeceased by: his father A. J. Garcia; his stepfather Merle Lafnear; his brother Rodney Garcia; and his stepdaughter Michelle Hornung. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Lafnear of Rochester Hills, MI; his brothers, Ben Garcia and Fred Clayton; his close friend Cheryl Schalau of Lapeer; his stepdaughters, Amber Hornung (Rick Truax) and Candace Wolosion (Bill); his stepgrandchildren, Trenton, Jordan, Ava and Tyler Bucy; his stepson Johnathan Bucy; his stepgrandchildren, River and Stone Wolosion; his stepbrother Jesus "Chuy" Garcia (Amy); his close friends, Eric Wakefield and Ryan Wakefield; and his pet Angel. He is also survived by many other step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces, nephews, and members of the Garcia family.
