Carolyn Zecchin Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolyn Zecchin of Lapeer, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carolyn left this world on October 26, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shemanski and Helen Shemanski (Pawenski); and her husband Arthur P. "Art" Zecchin. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Zecchin, David Zecchin (Holly), Laura Smith (Terry) and Amy Zecchin (Brian); her grandchildren, Heather, Cody, Amanda, Danielle, Kelsey, Dustin, Andrew and Abigail; and her sisters, Darlene Shemanski and Lorraine Shemanski. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (1627 E Bristol Rd, Burton, MI 48529). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Medical Team Hospice, in Carolyn's memory.
