It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Ruane Jr. of Lexington, Michigan, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary O'Keefe; his siblings, Bill and Maureen; and his parents, Nellie Ruane and Mike Ruane.
He is survived by: his children, John Ruane (Angela), Marie Strum (Bob), Karen Perl (Bob), Kevin Ruane and Bill Ruane; his grandchildren, Ryan, Kari, Billy, Danny, Nina, Trevor and Jessie Lee; and his siblings, Babs Rockel (Jim) and John Ruane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Denis Catholic Church (5366 Main St, Lexington, MI 48450). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
