It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Naomi J. Potter of Lincoln, Michigan, born in Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Morang, Sr. and Donna Morang (Gustafson) of Lincoln, MI.; and her brother Russell Morang. She is survived by : her husband Phillip Potter Sr.; her children, Tonya Pagels (Joshua) and Phillip Jr. Potter (Carrie); her grandchildren, Brooklynn Jean, Brady James Pagels, Ella Grace, Ashlyn Jean and Olivia Mae Potter; her siblings, Roxanne Ward, Leonard Morang (Heidi), Joseph Morang, Christopher Morang (Lynn), Earl Morang, Lori McGuire (James) and Thomas Morang; and her sister-in-law Linda Morang. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for prayers. Monetary donations can be made in memory of Naomi Jean Potter to Hospice of Michigan or Alpena Friends Together, or directly to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
