He was predeceased by: his spouse Pat; and his grandson David. He is survived by: his children, Chuck (Wendy), Harry (Colleen), Al Jr., Dorene Kief and Bill; his grandchildren, Laurie, Brittany, Cole, Al III, Sarah, Brooke and Bill Jr.; his great grandchild Susie; and his sister Irene Tufenkjian.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
