It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arne Hanninen in Livonia, Michigan, born in Nisula, Michigan, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hanninen and Mary Hanninen; his brother Elmer; his sister-in-law Kathryn Hanninen; and his son Warren.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his daughter Peggy Hanninen; his grandchildren, Jon Hanninen (Yuliya) and Emily Hanninen; his niece Liisa Danner (Don); and his great-nieces, Kate Danner and Alexa Danner. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Finnish Center Association.
