He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Mullins; and his child Rebeca Lynn Hinga. He is survived by: his daughters, Jacqueline Schmidt (John) and Maureen Weger (Kirk); his grandchildren, Matthew (Carrie), Christopher, Timothy Hinga, Danielle Morgan (Daniel), Mark Schmidt, Samantha Cupp (Paul), Lisa, Ruth, Jack, Elizabeth Schmidt, Jacob (Jenna), Will and Catherine Bastien; his great grandchildren, Zachary Hinga, Octavia, Constantine, Bjorn Morgan and Analiese Bastien; and his sister Carol Bentley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
