He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Waddington and Ruth Waddington; his brother David Waddington; and his brother-in-law Clarence Kruse. He is survived by: his pets, Bella, Boss and Queenie; his wife Shirley; his sister Joanne Kruse; his daughter Heather Trevarrow (Paul); his stepchildren, Paul Tokarski (Ann), Curtis Walker and Catherine Ingle (Gregory); his grandchildren, Lane Trevarrow, Stephanie Anderson (Dale), Erica Wolfenbarger (James), Michael Tokarski (Ela), Curtis Barber (Jared) and Taryn Walker; and his great grandchildren, Andy Anderson, Jolene, Jude Wolfenbarger, Mason and Stormy Barber. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home (37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's honor may be made to Michigan Humane.
