He is survived by: his wife Donna Polvi (Holmes); his son Eric Polvi (Valerie); his granddaughter Eleanor; his brothers, Kenneth Polvi, David Polvi (Sue) and Michael Polvi; and his nieces, Mandi Dubak (Thomas) and Lisa Thee (Garrett).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society or Michigan Humane.
