She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Tinsey and Esther Tinsey; and her son Scott Hardesty. She is survived by: her husband Douglas E. Hardesty; her son Justin Hardesty (Jennifer); her daughter-in-law Christen Hardesty; her siblings, Lynn Tinsey (Sharon), Carol Gould and Maxine Wolfe; and her granddaughter Tavia.

The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation.
