It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Gilbert Abbey of Mackinac Island, Michigan, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grace Abbey and Leon Abbey; his wife Arletta "Letty" Davey; his children, Jim (Sheryl Abbey), Janice Abbey of Traverse City, David (Carolyn Abbey) and Catherine "Katy" (Mark Peterson); his grandchildren, Paul, Leah, Natalie, Abby Lee, Danielle, Ellen, Michael and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Emma and Ruby; and his sister Virginia Vallor.
