Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Frances R Maiers of Macomb Township, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 81, on December 28, 2020. She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Torrey and Harriet Torrey of Vassar, Michigan.; her daughter Sherry Shannon; and her granddaughter Karah. She is survived by : her husband Terry Maiers; her children, Terry Maiers (Debbie), Caryn James (Bruce), Randy Maiers (Beverly), Matthew Maiers (Nui), Gwen DeLano (Mike), Ralph Maiers (Kris) and Kathy McLaughlin (Pat); and her brother Russell Torrey. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid crisis and limits on attendance, the family is heartbroken to announce that only a private family service will be held at 1:00 p. m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in the Avram Funeral Home, Mayville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fran's memory to the Community Foundation of St. Clair County and the family will use those gifts to support Fran's favorite causes. (StClairFoundation.Org) Arrangements are by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home and Avram Funeral Home.
