We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025, at the age of 90, Gerald John Engel of Macomb Township, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gerald John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Engel and Margaret Engel (Wilcoff); and his wife Marjorie LaMontague. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey A. Engel, Jill Billingsley (Steve), Michelle Lewinski, Craig LaMontague and Paul LaMontague; and his grandchildren, Christian, Simone (Andrew) of Zachary, J. P. and Sydney.
