She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen A. Newman and Caroline Newman (Maske); and her husband Joseph "Joe" Sowa. She is survived by: her children, Mike, Yvonne, Jeannie (Edmo) and Jeff (Michelle); her grandchildren, Danielle, Brandi, Karlee, Troy (Amanda), Landin, Faith, Chase, Serenity and Conor; her siblings, Marilyn Perski, Vernie Kolk and Steve; her sister-in-law Aggie Newman; her siblings, Bob and Rose; her brothers-in-law, Al Kramp and Dean Kolk; and her niece Denise Myers. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
