With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janell Sandstedt-Peterson of Manistee, Michigan, born in Wewoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 24, 2021 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janell Sandstedt-Peterson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. L. Lewis and Esther Lewis (Whiteley); her former husband Clarence "Sandy" Sandstedt; her husband John H. Peterson; and her brother-in-law Jerre.
She is survived by: her stepson Tom Peterson (Sherrie) of Grand Rapids, MI.; her grandchildren, Liisa Blick (Brian), Kelly Maguire (Tim), Kati Conklin (Coley), Mollie Lauffer (Todd Patrick), Andrew Sandstedt, Nathan Sandstedt (Jenni), Jack Sandstedt and Lily Sandstedt; and her stepgrandchildren, Mindy Peterson, Heather Peterson and Tommy Peterson (Beth). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Manistee United Methodist Church, Little Mary's Hospitality House, the Manistee County Historical Museum, or the charity of the donor's choice.
