He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pati" Potes of Manistee; his sons, David (Elizabeth Potes) and Jason (Amy Potes); his stepchildren, Samantha Schafer (Dan Harrison) of Manistee, Joshua Schafer (Liz) of Manistee, Beau Schafer (Barbara) of Traverse City, MI and Noah Schafer (Monica Vasquez) of Manistee; his grandchildren, Olivia, Char, Hunter, Boe-Lilly, Axel, Henry, Haylee, Taylor, Jaelynn, Gage, Harper, Vicente, Eliana, Zebediah, Cruz and Tyelur; and his sister Cynthia Miller of Frankfort, MI.. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
