He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl "Pug" and Thelma "Toby" Johnson (Morris); and his brother David "Beaver" Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Johnson of Manistee; his children, Randel R. Johnson (Sida) of Madison Heights, MI, Russel James Johnson (Nonie) of Lynchburg, VA, Dawn Johnson of Manistee, Danielle Peterson of Manistee and Eve Steward (Christian Flores) of Crestview, FL; his sister Sandy Wandrych (Jim) of Powell, OH; and his sister-in-law Linda Johnson of Manistee. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
