It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose M. Fortier of Manistee, Michigan, who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Helminiak and Agnes Helminiak (Cachura); her husband William Fortier (Bill); her sister Genevieve Lipski; and her siblings-in-law, William Scherbinski, Douglas "Knoby" Fortier, Percy Fortier Jr., James Fortier, Milton Fortier, Laverne Helminiak, Marjorie Fortier and Marcia Fortier.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Linke (Rick), Shelly Mix (Dave) and Scott Fortierr (Gretchen); her grandchildren, Mike Linke (Jessica), Jackie Wahr (Ryan), Colin Linke (Stephanie), Cassie Archer (Tod), Dustin Mix, Travis Mix (Sarah), Heather Sundbeck (Adam), Amber Wichman (Mike), Marissa Fortier (Brady Kuphal) and Noah Fortier (Misty); her siblings, Helen Scherbinski and Ronald Helminiak; and her siblings-in-law, Edward "Ray" Fortier and Jane Fortier. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid 19 a private family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Zeljko Guberovic at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee.
Those wishing to remember Rose are asked to consider a donation in her name to the Manistee County Meals on Wheels Program of the Guardian Angel's Church Restoration Fund.
