We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2022, at the age of 77, Vance John Rasmussen Jr. of Manistee, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Rasmussen and Jassamine Rasmussen (Aiken); his siblings, Mark Rasmussen, Jack Rasmussen, Rick Rasmussen and Lorena Robbins; and his pets, Max and Lucky.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Saxton; his children, Robert, Richard Todd Rasmussen of Manistee, Tracy Lynn Knight (Hal) of Atlanta and Georgia; the mother of his children Carol Rasmussen (Saxton); his child Dorrell; his grandchildren, Ashley Haines (Derek) of Canton, Georgia, Evan Knight of Atlanta, Colton Rasmussen (Olivia), Russell Rasmussen and Reese Rasmussen of Great Falls, Montana.; and his siblings, Brinda Rasmussen, Terri Bumstead, Cathy Holcomb, Denise Rittenhouse (Jay Cowdery), Debra McClelland (Timothy McClelland), Larry Rasmussen (Diane Rasmussen), Dick Rasmussen, Sharon Sibley, Karen Abbot (Bob Abbot) and Margorie Buckhalter (Dave Buckhalter). He is also survived by his 14 brothers and sisters.
