She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Bassett and Violet Bassett. She is survived by: her husband Richard Osterland; her children, Jeff (Kelly), Jennifer (Andy) and Janel (José); her grandchildren, Abigail, Sara, Andy, Jacob and Megan; her sister Deborah Maxwell (Brad); and her siblings-in-law, Robert Osterland, Larry Osterland (Pam), Jerry Osterland (Mary), Ray Osterland, Anne Walker (Hale) and Mary Jo MacDonald (Alan). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Memorial-Bower Rose Funeral Home (222 N Main St, Marine City, MI 48039). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blue Water Hospice Home, whose compassionate care brought comfort to Kay and her family.
