We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2025, at the age of 89, Ruth M. Fessenden of Marine City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Osterland and Alice Osterland; her husband Hugh Fessenden; her son Michael Fessenden; her daughter-in-law Kathy Lester; and her siblings, Wilfred, Elmer, Gerald, Leslie, Melvin, Edmund Osterland and Dorothy Endres.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Lester and Margaret; her son-in-law Steve Markel; her grandchildren, Anne Therese Lester, Nichole Ekelund (Andrew), Cassandra Demianenko (Tim), Amanda Prize and Tyler Fessenden; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Avery Ekelund, Caleb, Wyatt Demianenko, Caden and Gabriella Prize; and her brothers, William, Donald and Bernie Osterland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
