He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Nyquist and Jean Nyquist; his parents-in-law, Doris Swanson (Denny), Geraldine Swanson (Longtine), Donna Swanson (O'Leary) and John O Swanson; and his siblings-in-law, Colleen Ryan (Swanson), Cyndi Borcherding (Ross), Cheri Croschere (Johnson) and Thomas Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Debbie Aro Smith (Scott Smith) of Marquette and Jeff Nyquist (April) of San Francisco; his children-in-law, Lilah Nyquist (Scott Vidlund) and Dave Aro (Joy) of Marquette; his grandchildren, Noah, Lucas, Sophia Nyquist of Marquette and Amber Smith of Jacksonville, FL; his sister Kris Nyquist; and his brothers-in-law, Charles "Ed" Swanson (Janey), Brian Swanson (Angela Ciampaglia) of Marquette and Steve Swanson (Kayleen) of Cottondale, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
