He was predeceased by : his former life partner Norma Schram; and his son-in-law Tim Wolthuis. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Schram; his children, Pat Dietz, Sue Wolthuis (Tim), Jill Wolthuis (Mike), Chuck Schram (Chris), Timothy Selders (Holly), Steven Selders, John Selders and Mark Selders; his pet Buddy; and also Street Truck Stop. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Hospice or the Martin Reformed Church library.
