He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Bean and Mary Bean (Erkenbeck); his wife Gloria Stanfield; his sisters, Sandra Bean, Joan Miller and Dawn Tewe; and his stepmother Crystal Bean.

He is survived by : his children, Susan Bean (Bill), Jackie Youngs, Paul Bean (Mendy) and Lawrence Jr.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; sister, Sheila Campbell; brothers.
