It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patty Jean Schiedel of Martin, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Engel and Marion Engel (Kemp); her husband Marvin; her son Paul; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Schiedel and Joyce Van Landegent.

She is survived by : her son David Schiedel (Char); her daughter-in-law Bonnie Schiedel; her grandchildren, Tami Bogdan (Paul), Amy Kalkman (Jonathan) and Eric Schiedel (Carey); her great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Madison, Devin, Sophia, Emily and Megan; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Schiedel, Don Schiedel and Ken Schiedel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
