We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2023, at the age of 91, Helen Janet McNiel of Mayville, Michigan, born in Golden Pond, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Luther Snyder; her husband John McNiel; her son Ricky McNiel; her son-in-law John McMullen; and her siblings, Guy Snyder (Gerry), Frasher Snyder (Ruth) and Blanche Snyder.

She is survived by : her children, Linda McMullen, Mikel R. McNiel and Teresa Colosky; her grandchildren, Holli Ward (Mark), Tamera Zmersk (JD), Brandon McMullen (Gayle), Hollie McDougald (David), Mikel S. McNiel (Ashley), Ashton Workman (Crystal), Cheyenne Rathje (Ryan), Celeste Ingram (Levii), Shane LaPratt (Sabrina) and Matthew McNiel (Eden); and her brother Lloyd Snyder (Coleen). She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
