He was predeceased by : his parents, Claus J. Schut and Hattie Schut (Yonkman); his brothers, Donald and Robert Schut; and his siblings-in-law, Dan LaChonce and Dorothy Schut.
He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Frances Kenyon; his sons, Daniel Schut (Janet) of McBain, David Schut of McBain and James Schut of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Ashley Schut (Aaron Ford), Aaron Schut, Matthew Schut (Tiffany Bates) and Andrew Schut; his stepgrandchildren, Tiffiney Pollard (Al) and Amber Pytlowany (Matt Lake); his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Ryah, Melina, Alicia, Lexie, Madison, Karson and Thaddeus; his siblings, Thomas Schut (Beverly) of Jenison and Mary LaChonce of McBain; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Schut of Cadillac and Pauline Schut of Cadillac.
