Lucy Hoekwater Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2019, at the age of 101, Lucy Hoekwater (McBain, Michigan), born in Riverside, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Lipp and Bessie Lipp (Meekhof); and her siblings, Henry Lipp (Frieda), Grace Redlinger (Sheldon), Charles Lipp (Beatrice) and Bill Lipp (Ollie).

She is survived by : her husband Arthur Hoekwater; her sons, Gerald Hoekwater (Karlene) of Lake City, Arnold Hoekwater (Deb Booms) of Cadillac and Dale Hoekwater of McBain; her grandchildren, Phil Hoekwater (Wendy) and Michelle Bruce (Scott); and her great grandchildren, Joshua Hoekwater (Tori White), Christian Hoekwater and Madison Bruce. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made out to St. Mary's Episcopal Church of Cadillac, Hoop of Missaukee County, Lake City, or Lake City Senior Center.
