He was predeceased by : his father Aldolfo R. Acosta; and his sister Julia Belmares. He is survived by : his mother Eloisa Acosta (Belmares); his daughters, Tina Saenz-Acosta and Elizabeth Acosta; his siblings, Teresa Acosta, Maria Bianchi, Esperanza Boswell and Pablo "Paul" Acosta; and his close friend Sue Schumacher. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.
