He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Demers and Mabel Demers (Ebsch); his wife Mary K. Sherck; and his sister-in-law Vivian. He is survived by : his stepchildren, Ted Welsh (Sue), Mark Welsh (Linda) of Jacksonville, FL, Kirk Welsh (Lisa) of Aiken, SC and Kay Ann Merriman (Dave) of Longview, TX.; his siblings, Claude Demers of Menominee, MI, Sister Humbeline Demers of Manitowoc, WI, Louise Demers of Menominee, MI, Sister Muriel, Pearl, Arthur, Earl, Richard and Albert; and his sisters-in-law, Mary and Claire. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harlan's name to St. Vincent DePaul.
