She was predeceased by : her son Josh (Nikki); and her sister Sue Meijer. She is survived by : her husband Jon David Mathieu; and her children, Dave (Sherry), Dan (Nancy) and Carrie (Drew).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Marye's name benefiting the Maroon Booster Club and DAR Boys and Girls Club.
