She was predeceased by : her parents, Abraham Flores and Luz Flores (Garcia); and her sons, Alex Gomez, Marcos Gomez and Apolinar Gomez Jr..

She is survived by : her husband Apolinar Gomez; her children, Lucia Cavazos (Juan), Maria Kent (Philip), Josepha Gomez, John Gomez and Tammy Chernow (Paul); and her brother Geronimo Flores (SeQuana). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
