It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Otto Wenzel (Merrill, Michigan), who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Wenzel and Hazel Wenzel (Dunham Clark); his former life partner Helen Maier; his wife Mildred Clark Church; his sons-in-law, Jim Fordos and Ron Kitzmiller; his daughter Sharon Varner; and his siblings, Georgianna Schultz, Lyla Doehring, Barb McLoskey, Warren (Bud) and Archie Wenzel.
He is survived by : his brothers, Dale, Richard, Danny, David, Gerald and Benton Wenzel; and his sister-in-law Gloria Wenzel. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pursuant to the current state executive order, indoor building capacity is limited, face covers are required, and social distancing is encouraged. We appreciate everyone's efforts to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in our community.
