He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosie E. Conaway and Orsha Mary Conaway (Baker); his great grandchild Jesse Conaway; and his siblings, Jean Flinn, Marie Lamb, Anne Moore, Paul, Phillip, Bernard, Newton and Raymond Conaway.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Conaway (Compton); his children, Tonya Hawley (Jay), Eugene Conaway (Michele), Kevin Conaway (Meg McKenna) and Mark Conaway; his grandchildren, Justin Conaway (Jessica), Daasha Webster (Jameson), Melissa Cozart (Mac), Nicole Seals, Corey Hawley, Kevin Conaway (Alicia), Ashley Marcum (Kody), Andrea Conaway and Shawna Lane; and his sister Betty Lamb. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eineder Funeral Homes - Michigan Center Chapel (820 5th St, Michigan Center, MI 49254). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roseland Memorial Gardens.
