He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Joseph and Dorothy Lucille. He is survived by : his wife Barbara A.; his children, Francis Joseph Chinchak III and Angela Annette Chinchak; his siblings, Gary Chinchak and Sheryl Mellin; and his grandchildren, Steven Chinchak, Daniel Chinchak, Ryan Finstrom, Sierra Finstrom and Tyler Finstrom.

Contributions in his memory are directed to the Michigan Center Eagles.
