He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Knauf and Margaret Knauf; his wife Betty Knauf; and his sisters, Irene and Lucile Knauf.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Brian Chicha (Rose) of Williamsburg, MI, Craig Chicha (Tavia) of Fairview, MI and Linda Jagiello (Jay) of Mio, MI.; his grandchildren, Tiffany Chicha, Mike Chicha (Emilee), Jennifer Chicha, Chris Chicha, Maelynn Watrous (Ryan) and Lydia MacIntyre (Danny); his great grandchildren, Griffen, Lincoln, Jaxon, Maddie, Andrew, Savanah, Autum, Karlee, Haylee, Ashlee, Michael and Shane; his sister-in-law Sue Schramm; his son Joel Bull; and his brother Kenneth Knauf.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oscoda County Senior Center in his honor.
