Esther Bills Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Bills (Mio, Michigan), born in Comins, Michigan, who passed away on October 14, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Carrie Emig (Beaber). She is survived by: her parent William Emig; and her spouse Robert M. Bills.
Even in her final days she continued to quote Deuteronomy 31:8: "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Esther was a true homemaker, an excellent cook and seamstress. She was an accomplished artist who painted beautifully and made creatively unique pottery. She also enjoyed gardening, walking, and playing cards with friends. Esther was a very active member of the Tri Point Church of God and regularly volunteered at His Love Family Recourses in Mio. Esther is survived by her children: Mark Bills, Barbara Bills and Diane (William) Maier; grandchildren: Mark Bills II, Jessica (Lyndsey) Dymond, Elise (Perry) Clouse, Robert Wiley Bills and Meg (Corey) Engelhart; great grandchildren: Tucker Bills, Elley Bills, Danforth Engelhart, Melody Esther Engelhart and Sophia Clouse; her sister: Velma Ouimette; and her brother: Frank (Gloria) Emig. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Carrie Emig, her husband Robert Bills, sisters: Beulah Collins and Elsie Guedel; and her brothers: Elton, Wilbert and Gene Emig. Visitation: Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM and Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 10 – 11 AM. Service celebrating the life of Esther Anna Bills: Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11 AM, with lunch following. Visitations and Service held at Tri Point Church of God, 831 W. Miller Road Mio, MI 48647, with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. In accordance with Esther's wishes, cremation has taken place and Interment of Ashes at Kittle Cemetery Mio, MI with family.
