He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ransom Scott Cowger and Nora Evelyn Cowger (Vandegriff); his wife Bettye Colleen Cowger (Wagner); his children, Frank Cowger Jr. (Beth), Colleen McDowell, Marianne Cowger, Katherine Somers and Linda Matulevicz (Jim); his sisters, Betty Dee Durocher and Pauline Cowger; and his sons-in-law, Terry McDowell and George Somers. He was also cherished by his 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
