With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jesse David Gillis of Mio, Michigan, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Hobson Gillis and Lilly Mae Esch Gillis; his siblings, Gene, Joy, Jerry, John, JoAnn and Jim; his daughters, Diana Lynn (Keith Griffith) and Patricia Ann (Trish); his wife Mary; his daughters, Sherry Morris and Trish (Jim Hansen); his grandchildren, Jesse Griffith (Sheri), Tucker Griffith (Tabitha), Preston Griffith (Chantel), Jennie Morris, Alyssa Morris, Andy Hansen (Kanaya), Jamie Hansen and Tessa Hansen; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Asia'h Griffith, Kendra, Chance, Ryker Griffith, Kevin, Declan Griffith, Aspen Hansen and Ian Griffith.
Contributions in Jesse's memory may be made to the Reynolds County Museum.
