She was predeceased by: her parents, Elgie Dow and Ina Dow; her sister Barbara Oakes; her brothers-in-law, Walter Drouse and William Oakes; and her son-in-law Bill Appel.
She is survived by: her husband William Kusey; her children, Nancy Trew (Roger), Laurie Shea (Tom), Nina Appel (Hugh Galbraith), Karen Ciske (Paul) and William Kusey (Karen); and her sister Shirley Drouse. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or to Mio Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
