With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Jane Shrum (Monroe, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 4, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her former life partner James R. Marchese; and her sisters, Karen Young and Lela Clarke. She is survived by : her husband James W. Shrum; her children, Robert Marchese (Shannon) of Monroe, Rhonda Elkaakati (Joseph) of Holland and Shanna Anwiler (John) of Ida; her brothers, Herbert Priest (Jean) of Monroe and Nelson W. Priest of Monroe; and her grandchildren, Samantha Vollmer (Ryan Cornoyer), Ryan Elkaakati, Nicole McPherrin (Casey), Noah Turner and Caleb Turner. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; three step children as well as multiple step-grandchildren.
