He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Dunn and Myrtle Dunn (Robinson); his daughter Julia Kludy; his son-in-law Dan Kludy; his grandson Curtis Dunn; and his half-siblings, Gerald Scott, Doris Case, Ellen Scott, Myrtle Robinson and May.

He is survived by : his wife Juanita Rought; and his children, Robert L. Dunn (Kay), Evelyn Woodward (Steve), Jane Cargill (Dan), William Dunn (Cindy), Tony Dunn (Nancy) and Rodney Dunn (Tina).
