It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen (Tower) Bierschbach (Mount Pleasant, Michigan), born in Reed City, Michigan, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Tower and Ina Tower (McCain); her husband James E. Bierschbach; her sons, Fred Bierschbach and Alex Bierschbach; her half-brother Floyd Farrar; her brother-in-law Harold Bodman; her grandchildren, Anthony Scott Cain, Kelli Renae Baldwin and Ryan Alexander Bierschbach; and her great grandchild Adalyn Grace Bierschbach.
She is survived by : her children, Keitha Cain (Al) of Colleyville, TX, Pete Bierschbach (Sue) of Midland, Lydia Bierschbach of Beal City, Donna Rogers (Bob), James Bierschbach of Phoenix, AZ, Clara Baldwin (Ron) of Remus, Carl Bierschbach (Lisa) of Ortonville and Mary Bierschbach (Heather Behrens) of Fenton; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Bierschbach of Lake Isabella; and her siblings, Gordon Tower (Linda) of Cedar Springs, MI and Nancy Bodman of Evart, MI.. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A vigil service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (2163 N Winn Rd, Weidman, MI 48858).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prestige Centre, in memory of Mary Bierschbach.
